Clematis 'H.F. Young'
Or at least that's what it's supposed to be… I planted this clematis mid-summer this year and surprise, surprise… it wasn't supposed to bloom for 18 months and the tag which I still have states it's supposed to have Wedgewood blue blooms. It's been blooming for well over a month now and I couldn't ask for a prettier blue - lol - what da you'll think? Maybe it's a 'H.F. Young', maybe something else… either way I'm tickled 'pink' with it's beauty. Note: I did no color change in pp. I even used a whi-bal to make sure it was spot on. PP included a tad of orton/velvia action, burn around the background plus selective high pass sharpening. Image very close to original but now pops. C&C welcomed.
Sorry I've been away so much. I've been sick with an awful cold/sinus infection & bronchitis which has also caused my surgery to be delayed. They won't re-schedule until I'm completely over it. Thanks so much for all the care and concern so many of you have shown. I am truly blessed!
